10th Grade

In 10th Grade, students will take a Career Interest Inventory called the Self-Directed Search. This is a tool to help match student interests with careers/oocupation.  Students fill out an assessment booklet and score it themselves.  The results give you a score for six different occupational codes:

      Realistic (R)

       Investigative (I)

       Artistic (A)

       Social (S)

       Enterprising (E)

       Conventional (C)

Taking the top three scores ("Summary Code"), students can find the occupations that match their interests.

Go to the NY Career Zone link below to "Assess Yourself" - click on your top three codes and then "View Occupations" for that list.
